When engaging in international trade with Chinese suppliers, many Ukrainian companies require a local warehouse in China to provide secure storage and various warehousing operations.
Cargo consolidation in China, or the process of combining multiple small shipments from different suppliers into a single larger shipment, is a highly relevant and in-demand service. This method allows all shipments to be dispatched together, reducing costs associated with separate transportation.
In such cases, while waiting for shipment, the goods can be stored at our warehouse in China. This service is popular among many importers and exporters working with Chinese companies.
Our company recognizes the importance of providing clients with a full range of professional logistics services. Since 2017, we have been offering our own storage and cargo consolidation service for clients requiring temporary warehouse storage in China at our facilities in Shanghai, Ningbo, and Guangzhou.
We provide a comprehensive logistics solution, including cargo labeling, packaging and repackaging, as well as pre-shipment inspection before dispatching goods from China.
Our secure storage service allows you and your suppliers to use the permanent addresses of our warehouses in Shanghai, Ningbo, and Guangzhou for preparing shipping documents.
This enables you to order goods from different suppliers and consolidate them at our warehouses into a single container shipment for sea transport, paying only for ocean freight and warehouse storage services.
Our dedicated agent in China will coordinate with your suppliers, arrange cargo delivery to the warehouse, and, if necessary, handle all customs formalities.
In addition to storage services, we offer our own consolidation service, which combines multiple shipments from different suppliers into one unified container shipment for sea transport. This is particularly beneficial for small shipments being sent by a single customer.
By using our LCL delivery service from China, instead of paying for an entire container, you only pay for the weight and volume your cargo occupies within the container.
Intervid specialists are always ready to offer you the most cost-effective shipping solution.

What does FCL mean? FCL stands for Full Container Load, which refers to ocean freight shipments large enough to fill an entire 20ft or 40ft container. FCL shipments are typically loaded at a single location, often at the supplier’s warehouse, and are used for large-volume cargo.
What does LCL mean? LCL stands for Less than Container Load, which is used for smaller shipments that do not fill an entire container. With LCL shipping, your goods are combined with cargo from other companies in the same container. In this case, you only pay for the portion of the container your goods occupy.
The choice between FCL and LCL depends primarily on cargo volume. If your shipment cannot fill an entire container, LCL is the best option. However, if your shipment is large enough to fill a full container, then FCL is more cost-effective. The financial aspect should also be considered when making this decision.
Our company can arrange individual transportation for each supplier and consolidate their cargo at our warehouse before shipping it as a single container load.
To provide a cost estimate, we only need origin and destination points, cargo description, its weight and volume. If the cargo is hazardous or requires special handling, please inform us in advance.
LCL shipping costs are primarily based on volume (CBM – cubic meters). The larger the space your cargo occupies, the higher the cost. Although weight is also considered when calculating the LCL shipping costs, volume typically plays a greater role in determining total shipping costs.
The costs and fees associated with FCL and LCL shipping are not fixed and may fluctuate based on supply and demand. For instance, several times a year, there is a surge in demand for shipments from China. Many clients aim to complete their orders before factories close for Chinese New Year, which typically falls at the end of January or February. As a result, shipping demand peaks earlier in the year.
Additionally, a significant volume of goods is exported from China before Christmas to stock retailers worldwide. This seasonal rush also puts pressure on available vessels and containers, leading to potential price increases.
Contact our company, and our specialists will calculate and arrange transportation from the supplier’s warehouse to the nearest seaport, including ocean freight and final delivery to your warehouse.
At Intervid, we always say that everything is possible. That is why we support buyer’s consolidation – combining multiple shipments from different suppliers into a single container.
This is what we call buyer’s consolidation, where you order smaller shipments from multiple suppliers, combining them into a full container load. In this case, several partial shipments are delivered to our warehouse, where they are consolidated into a single container. The container is then shipped directly to your doorstep.
